You know when you're having a cosy night in with the girls and all you want is a takeaway and a load of chocolate and sweets?
That's when the girls and I decided to go for a massive snack haul to Home Bargains, where I found these Creightons face masks.

Creightons is an English based online store, originally established in Peterborough. They developed themselves and now sell many of their health and beauty products in popular high street stores - such as Home Bargains. I bought 3 face masks to test and review. The face masks were extremely cheap, containing 100ml in each tube. I bought a White Clay & Eucalyptus Face Mask for 99p, Jojoba Oil & Vitamin E Face Mask also for 99p and a Charcoal Detoxifying Clay Mask for 89p. Due to the price of these face masks, they are ideal for a student budget. With the masks high in quality, you would expect them to cost more than they did!

This clay-based mask is made with activated charcoal and Kaolin Clay, which helps to purify and clarify the skin whilst absorbing excess oil and deeply cleanse the face. It draws out dirt and impurities so you're left with soft, clearer, cleaner looking skin.
Once a thin layer is applied leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes. After this time the mask should have set on your face. Then, rinse the mask off with warm water and pat your face dry.
What we thought:
When we first opened the clay mask it smelt amazing and had a really clean smell to it. Because of the soft, creamy formula, the face mask was easy to put on. Once applied I could really feel the mask working in my pores. When washed off, my pores were reduced and my skin felt tighter.
However, the mask is thin so it requires a few layers to get the right consistency and even coverage. But apart from that, the charcoal mask had an amazing formula and smelt really nice.

Jojoba Oil & Vitamin E Face Mask:
This face mask is infused with Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E, and is designed to make skin feel radiant, replenished and rehydrated. The mask will leave your face feeling radiant while helping to restore moisture to the skin.
This mask only requires 5-10 minutes on the face after application. After that rinse the mask off with warm water.
What we thought:
The face mask smells really creamy, there is also a light smell to the mask. Once applied, the mask is more like a moisturiser constituency, and doesn't even look like there is a face mask on as it is clear. As the minutes go on you can feel the skin absorbing the mask.
The face mask was really easy to take off. I did this with warm water and a sponge. Then, I used micellar water to give my skin an extra clean. I didn't use any moisturiser after this and honestly, my skin feels so soft, looks brighter and a lot more radiant.

White Clay & Eucalyptus Face Mask:
This white clay mask purifies and draws out dirt, resulting in a clearer looking complexion. Eucalyptus oil works by invigorating the skin and White Clay draws out pores, extra oil and other impurities. The skin is left looking clear and less oily.
An even layer of the face mask should be distributed on to the face. Then left to work for 5-10 minutes. Once the time is up, remove the face mask with warm water.
What we thought:
As soon as the face mask was applied, I could see my pores in more detail and could feel the mask sinking into them and working. I could tell that the mask was designed to target pores. The smell was really refreshing and clean, with a mild tea-tree scent.
The clay is really thick when it comes out of the tube, but when on the face, the mask goes a lot thinner. I would recommend keeping the face mask on for 10 minutes to make sure that the mask is set.
I removed the mask with a sponge and even though the clay had set on my face, it was really easy to remove. I then put a basic moisturiser on my face. Now my skin looks amazing, my pores and spots look reduced.
Final Outcome:

From all the face masks reviewed, the final result from them all together was that the skin was left feeling hydrated, replenished and soft. After using the face masks our skin did not feel sticky or greasy but instead refreshed. For a cheap product, the masks used felt a lot more expensive and higher quality and I would definitely use them again.
At such a cheap price, what more could us students want for a cheap pamper?
